Our primary focus at Kelson Group is to provide clean, quality apartments to help our residents live better. When looking at an overall renovation plan for The Carlton, our high-rise rental apartment building in the heart of downtown Edmonton, we sought to ensure updates were made to add to the convenience, safety, and the fresh look of this vibrant building.

The Carlton proudly features recently renovated and spacious apartment suites finished in neutral tones with large, high-efficiency windows to let in plenty of natural light. While the building received a new roof, new elevators, a fresh coat of paint, and LED lighting, the living areas look fresh with new flooring, appliances, window coverings, and lighting.

Paul Tarko, building manager at Carlton Apartments, said the updates give the building a more modern feel and increase the comfort level for residents. "The new LED lighting helps residents save money and the new windows also block out street noise, which was an unexpected benefit."

The installation of new elevators allowed for the addition of computerized technology which creates a more efficient system and reduces wait time. They meet the most current safety standards and fire codes, ensuring the safety of all Carlton residents. 

"This is of great value for all residents, especially those with mobility issues," said Tarko. "The tenants love the changes. I appreciate that when something needs to be done, the Kelson Group does it. They go far beyond the bare minimum-they will do things proactively instead of waiting."

Residents of The Carlton can also look forward to the completion of new laundry facilities in early 2020!
