City Gardens’ Trillium Tower Sales Launch Breaks Multiple Records
Brendan Shaw, REALTOR® and Managing Broker of Brendan Shaw Real Estate, believed sales of the Trillium tower at City Gardens was going to be successful based on interest leading up to the May 28th launch. Now post-sales launch, with multiple records broken, Shaw could not be more proud of his team and how the day unfolded.
“I received a text from one of our team members that there were people in line at 2 a.m. to purchase a suite at Trillium,” noted Shaw. “We were pretty excited to see the high level of interest from people who came out to purchase their new home in Downtown Kamloops’ premier residential development that will be City Gardens.”
Trillium, a 24-storey tower boasting 150 suites and the first building to rise in the City Gardens development, sold 83 units in one day, representing 55% of available inventory. For Shaw and his team, the sales launch represented the most units sold and highest sales volume in one day in the real estate company’s history.
“We had a number of units sell for over one million dollars during the sale launch to buyers which shows the strength of the real estate market in Kamloops and the excitement of purchasers to live in the luxury tower,” said Shaw. “As a company, setting a company record for the greatest number of pre-construction sales in a single day blew away my own expectations. The success of this day also speaks to the strong reputation of Kelson Group as a developer and how they’ve worked to engage the community every step of the way.”
Project developer, Kelson Group Property Development, first entered property development with a complimenting sales focus with Rockcliffe at Thompson Rivers University, a 40-unit condo development which sold most of the units on the first day of sales. Jason Fawcett, President of Kelson Group, didn’t know exactly what to expect for sales of Trillium at City Gardens, and was very pleased with the efforts of his team and the Brendan Shaw Real Estate team to get the project launched for sales seamlessly.
“Our company is committed to the communities in which we own and operate our residential buildings, both our apartments and our residential real estate projects,” said Fawcett. “All along, we wanted the citizens of Kamloops to feel engaged in the process, from when we originally launched the vision of City Gardens to the launch of sales. We are pleased that our community has come out to show their support for the project, and we look forward to welcoming residents to their new home.”
The next step, now that Phase 1 of the sales for Trillium have successfully wrapped up will be the launch of Phase 2 of sales, to be announced soon. Shaw encourages people to sign up for the City Gardens newsletter which will keep them up to date on the launch of Phase 2 for sales, and all things related to the overall development.
“If people missed out on the sales launch, there may be opportunity to purchase one of our remaining units or to register for the next phase of sales,” noted Shaw. “They can visit www.kamloopscitygardens.ca and click the REGISTER button at the top of the page or call our office at 778.471.1498. We also want to thank the community of Kamloops and local REALTORS®, plus some new, out of market purchasers and REALTORS®, for joining us this past Saturday. It’s exciting to see the vision for City Gardens Kelson Group envisioned all coming together to create a downtown oasis.”
