As a maintenance worker for Kelson Group, your work is to deliver outstanding customer service, which is a huge part of how we live out this promise for our residents every day.
Responsibilities include estimates, prepping surfaces, installing and repairing sheet vinyl, vinyl plank, carpet, tile, hard wood flooring etc. Applying caulking and sealants as needed for a finished look. collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and meet quality standards. We are an all hands on deck company, so there will be times when you will be doing a variety of different duties but will be primarily responsible for flooring.
REPORTS TO: Maintenance Manager
OVERVIEW:
A maintenance worker is very service oriented and strives to make prospective and current residents feel welcome and comfortable in their community.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Load, unload and transport building material, machinery and tools and distribute as required.
· Assist with renovations of apartments between residents
· Clean, prepare and maintain construction site to eliminate possible hazards.
· Respect and respond to direction given by supervisors and avoid unnecessary conflict.
· Keep a daily, detailed log of tasks and submit time sheets electronically.
· Understand and comply with all Kelson Group policies and procedures.
· Engage in any educational or training programs offered by the company.
· Any other assigned duties that may arise.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Flexibility to be on call and respond to emergencies and work irregular hours if necessary and on short notice. You may also be assigned to other properties within Kamloops.
