Much to the delight of residents, Kelson Group has built 3 new, raised community garden beds at its Dufferin Terrace property.  It was a team effort, constructing the garden beds and installing a new storage shed, with many of the Kelson Group staff enjoying the opportunity to get outside into the great sunny weather and create a new amenity for residents.

"We've built community gardens at other Kelson Group properties and they've been well received," says Mandy Curtis, Marketing Director for Kelson Group. "It's an opportunity to bring residents together to build their sense of community and to grow their own fresh produce."

In fact, Dufferin Terrace residents were so excited about the idea, that all of the Community Garden beds have already been reserved with residents set to start planting their plots right away. To compliment the ambiance of the area, Kelson Group plans to add a picnic table and seating area soon.

"Part of our mission as a company is to be the best provider of quality rental properties to help enhance our resident's lives," says Curtis. "We've heard from so many of our residents who have shared how much they appreciate these gardens. We are now looking at adding more of these gardens with two sites selected for next year."
